Everybody has problems, trials, difficulties and hardships. No one really seems to be exempt. And I remember feeling like I was tired of difficulties that seemed to just keep coming down the road, one after the other. This, together with thinking about the words a spiritual leader (Spencer W. Kimball) had spoken wherein he had explained how problems come to help us to grow and that through experience, we might become more than what we were the day before --that we need to face adversity with courage and dignity, were the thoughts I was having as I started to write this song. I really had decided that very day that no matter the problem that would be mine, that I would chose not to let it destroy me. I was feeling good and I would not let anything change the way I felt. I knew the source of where I would find the strength to overcome and I knew I had to write a song about it. I hope this song will help others to face the problems they have and to know that they are not alone in getting through them.
