I wrote this song one night during my college days. I was feeling frustrated at all the homework and lack of fun. My mind would take me back to my high school days in Hawaii. I guess this was a fantasy to be able to go back and enjoy the beaches at Muana Loa, Waikiki, Sunset Beach, Pounders, Sandy Beach (it should have been called neck-breaker), Waimea Bay, Bellows Air Force Base and others. This unfortunately, had been sort of a pattern for me, even in high school to drift off (and sometimes take off) to a nice place in the warmth of the sun. I kind of filed this song away deep in the archives, but decided to bust it out for this album because I had too many ballads and wanted a little more fun happening. Jamie Glaser's guitar just takes over this song and gives the detailed feeling of what I am day-dreaming about! I hope you like it!
