Let It All Come Down...
Only in America! (& Japan & Taiwan!). From recording his first CD (Let it all come down), performing his first public performance in over 15 years, and breaking into national radio with TOP 30 presence in the country's largest AC charts (Billboard, Radio & Records), to then seeing Burke perform in places as Las Vegas and Taiwan to a crowd of 8,500 people in Linko Stadium, and in Japan -- in the Tokyo Dome to a crowd of more than 25,000, one would have to say that this was quite the coming out party for Burke in 2003! The party hasn't stopped with the single still climbling in both major charts. Burke calls a small mountain valley in Utah home and continues to find inspiration there with his wife, six kids, 50 chickens, pastures of cows, horses, and you get the idea. Burke Roney has been a "closet" songwriter for years. Focusing on life and raising a family has for many years kept his musical interest as a late-night endeavor and not a vocational pursuit. After writing the song “Hey Lori”, a song inspired after his cousin Lori had failed to beat her battle with cancer, requests for copies of the song were many. Interest in Burke’s other songs increased and with the encouragement of many, Burke finally took time to professionally record some of the other songs he had written. The result was the CD “Let it all come down” -- 12 tracks of great music ranging from stirring ballads to upbeat feel good tunes that have you listening to the CD over and over again. One track on the CD "The best is yet to come" was used as the theme song for an International company, which sent Burke off to Japan to perform it personally in Japan’s Tokyo Dome to a crowd of more than 25,000 people! The title track “Let it all come down” was released in the United States and climbed the adult contemporary charts and currently remains in the top ranking songs in the largest AC charts in the country (Billboard, Radio & Records). Burke became one of adult contemporary’s highest debuting independent artists of 2003. Having sold over 10,000 copies of the CD before the official release date (February 3, 2004) Burke again has proven that dreams can come true and that great music can be wholesome – and that there is a market for it.
